Christmas Party Ballet Style

Ok, please don't judge me for posting about Christmas almost a month later! How in the world is it already mid-January?? Before Christmas, I had a party for my ballet class to watch the Nutcracker(a favorite of mine around Christmas time!) and decorate Christmas cookies. Well, unfortunately we couldn't get the projector to work to watch the Nutcracker, but the cookies were a success!
I baked over 100 cookies with my friend, Widya(thanks for helping, Widya!), thinking there would be more than enough. They were completely gone by the end of the party! These kids didn't let anything go to waste! :) They went home with lots of decorated cookies and maybe some stomach aches from the sugar...sorry moms!

I came an hour early to set everything up, and these 4 were already waiting! So, I put them to work...they were great helpers setting up for the party!

Those are some good lookin' cookies! The kids had a blast decorating. It was such a fun time(even though watching Nutcracker didn't happen!)
